Naming ceremonies do not run on a fixed schedule the way a wedding stage does — the priest moves through rituals as the muhurtham allows, and things can happen faster than expected.
A few things that make a real difference to the photos: keep the baby's ceremonial outfit and any jewellery laid out and ready before the priest arrives, tell us in advance if there is a specific ritual your family considers the most important one (the naming itself, the cradle ceremony, the sun-showing), and have one family member designated to gently keep other guests out of the direct sightline to the baby during the main rituals.
We shoot candidly through the ceremony rather than staging re-enactments afterward, so the more we know beforehand about the order of events, the better positioned we are for the moment that matters most to your family.
